Issue Stop Payments for your business online with Direct Business Internet Banking starting November 12.
New online Stop Payment feature adds convenience to your business banking. Next time you need to issue a Stop Payment, simply log into your Direct Business Internet Banking account and follow these steps:
- Select “Stop Payment Request” under the Services tab once logged into Direct Business Internet Banking
- Read the disclaimer before placing a stop payment, fees apply
- Select the “Create a New Stop Payment” link (you may also retrieve and view stop payments placed through Online Banking)
- Input the check information for the check you want to place a stop payment on
- Preview request
- Cancel, Edit, or Submit request
- Confirm your request to stop payment on a check; you will be provided a confirmation number
- Click on the “Done” button. You have now successfully completed placing your stop payment.
